Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Wedding Prepped ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Wedding Prepped provides a platform for creating and managing wedding websites, including features such as RSVP management, gift registries, photo galleries, and guest communication tools.

3. Account Registration

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account
• You may not share your account with others or transfer it to another person

4. Payment Terms

• The Service is available for a one-time payment of £79
• Payment is processed securely through Stripe
• All prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable
• Once payment is made, you will have access to all features until your wedding date plus 30 days
• Refunds may be requested within 14 days of purchase if you have not published your wedding website

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload or share any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Upload viruses or malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose other than your wedding
• Collect or harvest personal information of other users
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service

6. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service (photos, text, etc.). By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and share any content, including obtaining consent from individuals appearing in photographs.

7. Gift Registry & Payments

• Gift contributions are processed directly between your guests and your payment accounts (PayPal, bank transfer)
• Wedding Prepped does not handle or process gift payments
• We are not responsible for any issues with gift payments or transfers
• You are responsible for providing accurate payment information to your guests

8. Guest Data

You are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from your wedding guests before adding their personal information to the Service. By using the RSVP and guest management features, you confirm that you have the necessary permissions to process your guests' personal data.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-uploaded content), is owned by Wedding Prepped and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our Service.

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will endeavour to provide advance notice of planned maintenance where possible.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service
• We are not responsible for any loss of data, though we take reasonable precautions to prevent this

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wedding Prepped from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

13. Account Termination

• You may delete your account at any time through your account settings
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms
• Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
